Prestige and post creation
20th July 2023You can earn prestige to unlock advanced HICH features.
How to earn Prestige
- Create great posts and leave interesting comments.
- When your posts or comments get liked, you gain some prestige, so making posts and comments that communities find valuable is the best way to gain prestige.
- The more likes you get, the more prestige you'll receive. However, prestige is calculated according to many factors, so not every action will be awarded with the same amount of prestige.
- There are many other ways to earn prestige. For example, completing a daily bonus can help you kick start your prestige.

Boosting
25th May 2023From now on, posts will remain in the HICH stream until they exhaust their allocated coins, or they reach the predetermined number of votes that were initially paid for.
Posts that generate active engagement will be eligible for "boosting" - which will ensure your post stays in the stream for longer and gets more engagement and votes. If a boosted post continues to generate engagement, it will be eligible for further promotion.
Stream revamp
11th February 2023In our latest app update, we've made the following changes:
- Improved your ability to filter your content stream by: people you are following, latest posts, local posts, videos, and categories.
- Made it easier for you to link to your social media accounts.
- Implemented a new text post design.
- Made it easier for you to zoom in on images (tap on the image).
- Ensured we can support posts in different sizes.
Please note:
- To vote, you need to tap on the voting tags. Tapping on the whole image will now zoom the image.
- If you long press on the icon, it will copy your unique share link
Badges and Daily Streak
26th January 2023In our latest app update, you'll notice that we've introduced a new badge system to help demonstrate users' expertise in specific subjects along with a ‘Daily Streak,' which rewards our most consistent users with coins.
Badges
Badges are earned by completing quizzes; first you will see your Q score increase as you take and complete quizzes and when you've earned enough Q points, you'll be awarded a badge.
Some badges will grant you exclusive rights and privileges within the app, and some badges can be upgraded as you progress even further in a topic.
Pro tip: All of your previous quiz progress has been saved, so we recommend checking out your profile page because you might have a new badge waiting for you there!
Daily Streak
To celebrate and reward our most loyal and consistent users, we've implemented a new Daily Streak system! Simply vote on 25 posts per day, and you'll receive bonus coins!
Pro tip: Vote every day for weeks, months, and years, you'll see your rewards skyrocket!
Referral & withdrawal system
17th November 2022In HICH's latest update, we have introduced a brand new, more lucrative referral system to reward the users who successfully promote our app. Located in our Share Center, the new referral system will reward people who promote HICH with up to 10,000 coins per single referred user! For more information, check out our Share Center help page.
Not only that, we have also redesigned our coins page - which includes a much more streamlined withdrawal process.

New bonus system
27th October 2022In our latest app update, you'll notice that we've introduced a brand new Bonus system to reward our most helpful and dedicated users.
There are different bonuses users can earn, Below, you can learn what each of these bonuses means, and how users will be rewarded for earning them:
Pollster
'Pollsters' love creating high-quality posts and they're rewarded for their awesome content with special poll-related privileges.
Influencer
'Influencers' bring people to HICH, create excellent content, and actively grow their followers. They are rewarded for being so popular with special social privileges.
Contributor
'Contributors' help improve other creators' content by up, or down-voting posts and giving coins to high-quality content. Contributors enjoy many special privileges.
Moderator
'Moderators' are upstanding community members who moderate HICH's content to help with quality control. Moderators enjoy many special privileges.
Quizzer
'Quizzers' love taking quizzes and have completed many of them. Quizzers receive helpful hints when attempting quizzes as well as extra rewards for completing them.
We can't wait to see which bonuses you earn!
Bonuses replace our old Quests system and you can navigate to bonuses by selecting the sidebar menu and then tapping Bonuses.

19th August 2022We're excited to introduce you to our brand new feature, HICH Quiz! With HICH Quiz you can learn, earn, test your knowledge, and collect exclusive rewards.
Here's what you need to know:
- To pass a quiz, you must score 70% or higher.
- To take a quiz, you have to spend "gems".
- Every four hours, you will receive +1 gem until your gems are full (the maximum is 5).
- We will measure your quiz progress with a feature called a "Q score".
- New quizzes will be released regularly.

Important update: coins, sparks and captcha
21st July 2022By now, you'll have noticed that things are changing at HICH. Our platform is evolving rapidly, and in order to keep you as updated as possible, we ask that you carefully read the information below:
What you need to know:
When you vote correctly on our most recent posts, you'll now be awarded between 2 - 10 coins at random. When you vote correctly on all other posts, you'll be awarded between 1 - 5 coins at random.
To reward our users who create high-quality posts, we are introducing a brand new 'sparks' system. This is how it will work:
- If your post achieves 3 stars, you'll be awarded 2000 sparks
- If your post is Promoted, you'll be awarded 20,000 sparks
- If your post is Featured, you'll be awarded 50,000 sparks
A captcha feature has been introduced to ensure that only our most genuine users flourish. This is how it will work:
- You will be shown a post with very simple questions that everyone knows the answer to (a 'captcha'). If you fail to answer the captcha correctly, you will receive a warning message.
- We will give you a second chance, but if you fail the captcha again, you'll be unable to earn sparks and coins for the next 1 hour.
This latest update is the next stage of a brand new era at HICH. We have a big, bold vision for our platform, and we are excited to take our users with us into the future of opinion-sharing!
Spark System
11th July 2022You will notice that we've just made some significant changes here at HICH. We have done this to ensure that our most genuine users prosper, and to pave the way for even bigger (and more exciting!) changes that are coming soon.
Here's a breakdown of what you need to know right now:
- Our level system has changed and our new levels are: Novice, Certified, Hicher, Pro & Expert.
- Our weekly withdrawal limit per level has increased: Certified - £5 | Hicher - £50 | Pro & Expert - unlimited!
- You will no longer spend coins to level-up, instead, you will collect 'sparks.' Once you've collected enough sparks, the sparks will be converted to stars, and when you have enough stars, your level will increase.
- You earn sparks by voting genuinely and creating high-quality posts.
- The cost of creating posts has decreased from a 500 coin-minimum, to a 200-coin minimum.
- The daily combo has been removed.
- You will now have a daily coin-earning limit, which is dependent on your level.
- The leaderboard will not be available for a few days, but your current ranking will not be lost.
- Everyone's level has been reset (keep in mind that level 'certified' now has a higher withdrawal limit than before and is much easier to obtain).
- These changes will not affect any pending withdrawals.
