HICH’s Community Guidelines are in place to help us create a fun, safe, interesting environment where our most genuine users can flourish.
By using HICH, you’re agreeing to abide by these guidelines as well as our Terms of Use. If you fail to follow our guidelines, adhere to our Terms of Use, and act in a lawful manner, HICH reserves the right to analyse your account and all of your activity, which may result in us removing your content, restricting your account features and your coin earning potential, or deleting your account.
If your posts, or account, are deleted, you will not be eligible for a refund on any coins you may have spent or acquired.
We encourage our users to create interesting, genuine content. If we notice you are creating posts that we deem low-quality or disingenuous, we reserve the right to remove these posts. If you continue with this behaviour, we will restrict your coin earning potential and you will be at risk of your account being deleted and any coins you have acquired will be lost irredeemably. Examples of low-quality content are posts where you ask other users to give you coins, or to like your posts, or follow you. Examples of high-quality content are posts that help you answer real, genuine questions you have about yourself or the world around you.
We have a sophisticated system that is able to detect people who are not playing by the rules. Examples of cheating are: creating fake accounts, giving yourself coins from fake accounts, attempting to hack our ad system and watching more than 4 ads per day, and using a simulator to interact with the app.
We have some rules around how you create posts, to ensure other users understand exactly what they are voting on. For example, you are not permitted to create double posts using the exact same image twice, and you must ensure your tags are placed on what you want users to vote on (rather than randomly, carelessly placed tags). Posts that are created incorrectly, or carelessly, will be removed by us and you will not be eligible for a refund on the coins you spent creating the post.
We have a sophisticated system that can detect when users are not voting genuinely. To vote genuinely is to take the time to read the title of a post (if applicable), study the content of the post, and give your honest answer or opinion. To vote disingenuously is to vote carelessly without properly studying the post, and give a random answer rather than an honest one. If we suspect you are not voting properly, we reserve the right to restrict your coin earning potential and if you continue with this behaviour, your account may be deleted along with any coins you have acquired.
Please ensure that you post authentic content, and not content you’ve copied or collected from the Internet that you don’t have the right to post. Learn more about intellectual property rights.
There are some very young users in our community, and for that reason, we restrict nudity on HICH. This includes photos, videos, and digitally-created content that show sexual activity and fully-nude body parts. Posts that violate this rule will be removed without any coin refund eligibility, and if we find you to be consistently posting content of this nature, we will restrict your account and your coin-earning potential, or delete your account along with any coins you may have acquired.
We want our users to create genuine connections on HICH, so with this in mind, we do not allow posts asking for likes, comments, coins, or followers and we also prohibit users asking for these things in exchange for money or giveaways. Posts of this nature will be removed without any coin refund eligibility and if you continue with this behaviour, your account may be deleted along with any coins you may have acquired.
You don’t have to use your real name on HICH, but we do require our users to provide us with accurate and up-to-date basic information such as their age, gender and location. We ask that you don't impersonate others and don't create accounts for the purpose of violating our guidelines or misleading other users. If you are found to be in breach of this rule, your account may be deleted along with any coins you may have acquired.
Terrorism, organized crime, hate groups, offering sexual services, buying or selling firearms, alcohol, and tobacco products between private individuals, and buying or selling illegal or prescription drugs (even if legal in your region) are not allowed on HICH. Additionally, we have zero tolerance when it comes to sharing sexual content involving minors or threatening to post intimate images of others. If you are found to be engaging in any of the above activities, your account may be deleted along with any coins you may have acquired.
We want to foster a friendly, positive HICH community. We recognise that there is a delicate balance to be found between allowing our users to express themselves freely, and also ensuring that no one is being threatened, bullied or made to feel unsafe. Serious threats of harm to public and personal safety are not tolerated on HICH. We carefully review reports of threats and consider many things when determining whether a threat is credible. If you are found to be perpetrating this kind of behavior, your account may be deleted along with any coins you may have acquired.
If you see something that you think may violate our guidelines, please help us by reporting it. We have a team in place to review these reports and remove content that doesn’t meet our guidelines.
You may find content you don’t like, but doesn’t violate the Community Guidelines. If that happens, you can unfollow or block the person who posted it. If there's something you don't like in a comment on one of your posts, you can delete that comment.
Many disputes and misunderstandings can be resolved directly between members of the community. If one of your photos or videos was posted by someone else, you could try commenting on the post and asking the person to take it down. If that doesn’t work, you can contact us directly and explain the situation and we will do our best to help you.
We may work with law enforcement, including when we believe that there’s risk of physical harm or threat to public safety.
